ShowSuit Case Study: Reusable Shell Scheme Exhibition Graphics

ShowSuit reusable shell scheme graphics used by Barker Associates, showing 6m back wall and 3x3 corner exhibition stand

As exhibition season builds momentum, many organisations are preparing for multiple events across the year.

A key challenge is ensuring that stand graphics can adapt to different stand sizes and layouts while still maintaining a consistent and professional brand presence.

This recent project demonstrates how reusable shell scheme exhibition graphics can support multiple stand configurations using the same set of visuals.

We produced two separate 3 metre ShowSuit® seamless fabric graphics for a client in the education sector. Since then, these graphics have been used across different events and stand layouts — showing how a single system can work flexibly across a full exhibition schedule.

About the Client

For this project we worked with a consultancy specialising in education estates and facilities planning.

Their work focuses on supporting schools, academies and education organisations with estate strategy, asset management, project delivery and sustainable building development.

As a team that regularly attends exhibitions and conferences, it was important that their stand graphics could be reused and adapted without needing to redesign or reprint for each event.

Configuration 1 – 3m × 3m Corner Stand

At the Schools & Academies Show, the graphics were installed across two walls of a 3m × 3m shell scheme stand.

The stand was open on two sides, allowing visitors to approach from multiple directions while still maintaining a strong visual presence.

Using ShowSuit fabric graphics created a seamless shell scheme display, avoiding the visible panel joins often associated with traditional rigid systems. The result is a cleaner, more continuous backdrop that enhances the overall stand presentation.

Configuration 2 – 6m Back Wall

At another event, the same graphics were installed side by side to form a full 6 metre back wall.

This created a large-scale, uninterrupted visual display using exactly the same graphics — simply reconfigured to suit a different stand layout.

Because ShowSuit uses tensioned fabric panels, the transition between sections remains smooth, helping to maintain a seamless appearance across the full width of the stand.

Why Reusable Shell Scheme Exhibition Graphics Matter

For organisations exhibiting at multiple events, flexibility is essential.

Rather than producing new graphics for each stand size, a reusable system allows the same visuals to be adapted and reconfigured as needed.

ShowSuit® fabric graphics are designed specifically for this type of use.

• Used across different stand sizes
• Combined to create wider backdrops
• Reconfigured depending on stand layout
• Packed down easily for transport
• Reused across multiple exhibitions

This approach not only reduces costs over time, but also ensures brand consistency across every event.

Consistency Across Events

Exhibiting at multiple conferences in quick succession often means working with different floorplans, stand positions and wall configurations.

By using reusable fabric graphics, the client was able to maintain a consistent visual identity across each event without compromise.

Whether installed on a corner stand or as a full-width backdrop, the same graphics delivered a professional and cohesive presence.
